Well, this is a really short update, nevertheless a really important one:

The date of my presentation finally arrived. Nino got up at 7 a.m. to prepare for the conference, although we did not get a lot of sleep due to the ongoing jetlag. Here you can see him, still really tired but ready for his talk.

The presentation worked great, even though the questions were really tough. But it was great to have Svenja’s support during the whole trip as well as the support at the conference venue from the new colleagues met during the last days.

After a total of 10 hours of presentations and talks, only interrupted by discussions, there was no energy left to even visit a good restaurant to celebrate the moment. So here is just another image of the view from our hotel room, this time taken with our new smartphone fisheye.
